I love the emphasis on a deep tuck and strong upper body posture, all while working to sculpt a strong lifted seat (and shaking like crazy).
I took my first class as a way to start a new year of my life, trying something completely out of my comfort zone...little did I know 2 years later I’d be a certified Bar Method instructor helping others fall in love with the workout as well.
The emphasis on form, deep muscle recruitment, and verbal/hands on adjustments (set your ego aside and get lower!) has allowed me to progress as a climber, skier, fly fisher woman, and runner. My body is stronger, leaner, and more stable than it has ever been all thanks to The Bar Method.
